FAQS

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We are a small business and try to offer good value holidays in a lovely place. We do try work with you to offer flexibility but we are really sorry but can't offer last minute refunds or cancellations if you have committed to book. We take  25% of your holiday's cost on booking ( or full payment if less than 4 weeks before your stay) this deposit is non- refundable if you no longer want or are able to take your holiday. We will always try and re-advertise your week, in the event of a cancellation, if this is successful then of course we will fully refund any payments (up to the cost of the resold week, which may be less if we have had to market it as 'last minute' close to the date of the holiday). If it is not successfully re-let,  then any balance outstanding  is due by yourself.

WHY DON'T YOU PROVIDE LINENS/ TOWELS?

It is rather old fashioned to ask you to bring your own bed linens/ pillowcases/sheets/duvet covers/ towels (duvets /pillows are provided). When we began letting and staying in the chalets this was the 'norm' and our band of regular guests were happy to do this. People seemed happy with having a slightly more reasonable holiday in return for providing these themselves. We have stuck with it and it works for most people, we are able to provide these at additional cost, so do enquire if you would like to stay but not 'bring your own'!

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

We are very sorry but don't accommodate pets.

ARE THERE ANY CLEANING FEES OR ADDITIONAL CHARGES?

We ask for a £100 damages deposit which is added to the cost of your holiday. This is returned asap after your stay, once we've checked the chalets.

Visitors will be expected to pay for any damage which is not normal 'wear and tear'. This may be over and above the damages deposit.

Hawkes Point View's electricity is by pound coin meter ( set well below the current unit rate and so quite reasonable)

ARE THE CHALETS SUITABLE FOR THOSE WITH MOBILITY DIFFICULTIES?

I'm afraid due to the undulating nature of the dunes and the access to the chalets, they are not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.

CAN I CHARGE MY ELECTRIC VEHICLE?

I am afraid the individual chalets do not have the appropriate facilities to charge vehicles. We are due to have electric charging points installed on the general chalet site at some point.
